The Girl on the Left

Once upon a time...there was a girl who never posted. Her name is Audrey Knight. She got a blog because her dear friend Robbie did not have a myspace. She made a couple fairly decent posts about her great nana and made several blogging friends. Okay she made three (Bryan, Daniel, and Dana). She had fun with it for about a week and three days and then dear sweet Robbie had to go get a stupid myspace...and all Hell breaks loose. Audrey makes another fun post about her Bible study and then she disappears. And she leaves her blogging friends in the dust for her facebook and myspace pals. Then a few MONTHS!! Months may I repeat myself, later she posts about scalloping in the gulf of Mexico and then silence again...and we have not heard from the poor woman yet. Did she die? Did she get sick of her blogging friends? Did she just think blogging was gay and move on? What has happened? We may never know. But all I can say is that you bloggers need to keep Ms. Knight accountable and keep overloading her blog with new post signs. Please do this for Audrey's sake as she may have something wrong with her. Sheesh.

Rock The Universe...

Rock the Universe is an amazing Christian festival that invites everyone to two nights of fun and music at Universal Studios Florida. The same theme park that is home to the satanic Halloween Horror Nights Every year. This year my youth group is going the 8th on the Saturday night when tobymac, Jeremy Camp, and Relient K will be there. Plus many more. Not to mention...along with getting to enjoy the live experiences of these bands you also get to enjoy the Universal experience. Featuring rides like JAWS, the Mummy, ET, and Men in Black. So...if you are interested in this type of event please join us the first weekend of september. But if you go there is one thing you must remember...

Bryan if you ever wear makeup and dress up in a skirt I will slap you so hard the only time you won't be feeling it is when you are dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MFUGER

At the end of July I went with my youth group to the most amazing summer church camp ever invented. MFUGE. At this camp, you do all of the stuff you would normally do at a regular church camp (worship, weird activities, amazing speaker) but you also go into the most poverty stricken parts of the city you are in and do missions work. This year we went to Charleston and it was the most fantastic year I have had yet and we have gone for the past three years. We arrived in Charleston Monday afternoon and got to our dorms (we stayed at Charleston Southern) and then went to find out what track group we were in. Tracks are the group you are in to go to your ministry site. There are 5 tracks: Childrens, Games and Rec, Creative, Social, and PCY (painting, construction, and yard work). I was in the games and rec track. I will divide this blog into two sections. Track Site and My Own Life.

TRACK SITE

For my track site we went to an apartment complex and played with a bunch of little and older kids all day. It was amazing. We played basketball, hoola-hooped, and told a bible story. On Thursday God really put it on my heart to witness to one of the boys there. So, I approached him on friday and started talking with him about church and stuff like that and when I began takling about religion, he lost interest and kind of maneuvered away from me. So I was kind of upset about not being able to share Christ with him but before we left that day, the Holy Spirit comforted me and told me that I had planted a seed and what I did was all God wanted me to do for that boy so...I am at peace about that now but man am I on fire to share Jesus with others now!!!!!!!!! I will talk about this more in my next section...

MY OWN LIFE

This past schoolyear I have been struggling with alot of different things: listening to bad music, watching bad tv, not using appropriate language, and all of these things just started to get worse over time. So I was kind of looking to M-Fuge as a crutch to get back on my feet and get right with God. It worked. At M-Fuge, we had an amazing speaker and he gave amazing messages. I cried almost every night that we were there. God did so much repair in my life I did not really know how to handle it. But now I do. After we left camp within a period of three days, Satan had already tempted me three times and tried to get me to lose what I got at camp. i resisted the temptations but I got nervous. Nervous for what was to come this schoolyear. Nervous that I would fall again. But I spoke the Sunday after we got back about not letting Satan take our wings away (Isaiah 40:31) and God really showed me that I do not need to be scared. I need to rejoice in the fact that Satan is so consumed with getting me to fail that he has already tempted me alot since we have been back. But I have realized, he is doing that because he knows that God has something good planned for my llife this year and I am not going to miss it. I now see these temptations as my oppurtunities to shove Satan's life project back into his face. I now say to him,"Bring it on you ugly buttfaced liar!!! For Jesus Christ is on my side and I can do ALL things through HIM and you will not touch me with your puny temptations!!!!!!!" Can I get an AMEN??? ROFL. But seriously, camp showed me sooo much about where God wants me to go and I do not want to miss it so anytime you get the chance and anytime you think about me I beg of you that you would pray for me. Because even though I have my mind set on not sinning, it is still goin to be hard. And I also ask that you pray for Audrey too because she goes to a public school and she made the same committments I did for the most part and she is goin to have it even harder at her school. So I will have her post on this too. But be praying for both of us this upcoming year. We are eachother's accountability partners but we still need others praying for us soo... But yea my camp experience was amazing and I cannot wait to see what God has in store for my life. I love you all!!!!!!!

Bourne Scores BIG!!!!!!!!!!!

BOURNE SERIES CAPITALIZES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With the final installment of the Bourne series being released in theaters this friday, The Bourne Identity and Supremecy are finally completed with the Bourne Ultimatum. I went and saw the movie with some pals tonight and I do not care about Pirates, Spiderman, Transformers, or any other movie that I have viewed this summer, this movie was the best. By far may I add. An already amazing series of suspense and action, the Ultimatum unloads with nonstop action, constant suspense, and unidentifiable, supreme, and ultimate acting. The Bourne Ultimatum keeps the original storyline of Jason Bourne trying to find his original identity and being chased by almost every law enforcement and special ops group every country can offer and still avoids being caught. Bourne is chased through Moscow, Morrocco, Spain, and finally the final showdown with the most amazing ending comes on Bourne's homeground in New York City. i am a huge fan of the Bourne series and it was in my top three for movies in a series. The final installment of the Bourne trilogy throws this threesome straight to the top of my list. And whoever is reading this blog...get some rest.
